These two youthful business Latinas have used their life in a family run business. Their childhood memories of the restaurants include the company of Tito Puente, Marc Anthony, Luis Guzman, Celia Cruz, Bill Clinton, Derek Jeter, Congressman Serrano, David Bowie and Fat Joe to name a few.
Don Coqui’s main lounge, on the second floor, features the Rodriguez unique style, obvious throughout the selection with house areas of expertise such as the ever-popular empanadas, paella, and arroz con pollo, with vintage National basics such as the Porterhouse for two, Alaskan crab legs, baked clams and barbecue ribs, among many other culinary delights.
The vast first floor is a gourmand’s fantasy and is the best place to coordinator any occurrence. It features a professional baking area, an entertaining business presentation baking area with a granitic eat-on reverse for 20, and an additional space with baking area place ideal for reports and in-room baking.
